Beaufort County is actively seeking applicants for home repairs in the 2027 cycle of the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency’s Essential Single Family Rehabilitation Loan Pool (ESFRLP) Program. Program goals are to rehabilitate deteriorated housing for low-and-moderate income persons. Eligible houses must be owner occupied, and total household income cannot exceed 80% of the county’s median income. The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency provides 100% of the funding for the Beaufort County 2027 ESFRLP program. The application phase is currently open and will end on January 23, 2026.
